Antonio Fiorini - This new addition to the Century Strings family is made entirely of aged quality spruce and maple in the old Italian style. Artistically oil varnished in a antique style with rustic dark reddish golden brown color. A Fine French Violin by Honore Derazey, 1855. Born Mirecourt, France 1794. Established at Mirecourt ,won exhibition medals in Paris and London. Perhaps one of the finest violins existing by this maker. Honore Derazey worked for J.B Vuillaume and made many violins bearing Vuillaume’s label. This violin bears the decorative label reading H. Derazey a Mirecourt Exposition Universelle 1855. Also branded H. Derazey in script above the label. (5303)
