The 23rd Annual Downtown Branson Fiddle Festival & Mid-American Fiddlers Championship.  Five divisions:  Pee Wee (9 and younger); Junior (10 thru 16); Senior (60 and older); Accompanist; and Open (17 - 60).   Thursday, Aug. 25: Private workshops at Best Western Landing View Inn Conference Rooms; Friday, Aug. 26: Private workshops and The Matthew Hartz Band 6:30 at Outdoor Stage at Historic Downtown; Saturday, Aug. 27: Contest preliminaries register 8:30-10:00 a.m., Contest Prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. at Indoor Stage inside the Big Tent behind Dick’s 5 & 10; Sunday, Aug 28 The Contest Finals begin at 12:00 noon. There is no charge to enter the contest.  Finals for Pee Wee and Accompanist divisions will be on Saturday, all other Division finals will be on Sunday.  The top two Junior and Senior finishers will join the top three Open fiddlers on Sunday to compete for the Grand Prize Title.
